Putting a Stop to Breast Cancer with Brake Repair in Plano TX

As part of the fundraiser, EurAuto Shop will give away FREE (quality) brake pads or shoes on brake repair in Plano TX. You will only be expected to pay the labor cost and any other ancillary parts necessary to complete the brake repair job. In turn, EurAuto Shop will donate 10% of the brake repair job in Plano TX directly to Dr. Vincent Tuohy & the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.

What Is Brakes for Breasts?

Brakes for Breasts is a nonprofit organization that unites the hands of Independent Auto Repair Shops throughout the month of October. This innovative campaign started in 2011 with 5 automotive repair shops in the Cleveland, Ohio area. With humble beginnings in one city, the original Brakes for Breasts campaign raised $10,000. Today, Brakes for Beasts has evolved to incorporate hundreds of shops in the United States and Canada.

Since then, these shops have collectively raised more than $1 million, making the Brakes for Breasts campaign the largest third-party fundraising entity at the Cleveland Clinic. More importantly, Brakes for Breasts has become an integral partner in the process of developing the first triple-negative breast cancer vaccine, which is the most lethal and aggressive form of this disease. Every penny generated goes directly to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.

To date, the total donation is $1,407,895.10.

Brakes for Breasts is completely different from any other breast cancer campaign:

1. Dr. Tuohy and his Cleveland Clinic researchers have created a vaccine that has proven to be at preventing breast cancer in laboratory animals.
2. 100% of every penny raised goes directly to the Cleveland Clinic for research on the Breast Cancer Vaccine

What Is the Breast Cancer Vaccine?

The breast cancer vaccine has proven to be 100% effective at preventing breast cancer in lab animals. This vaccine is the first one designed to prevent triple-negative breast cancer. In fact, the Food and Drug Administration has given the green light to enter Phase 1 human trials, which began in October 2021.
