McLaren Factory Recommended Maintenance
Your McLaren is basically a factory built race car. It’s rare that a supercar is driven under “normal driving conditions”. If you’re taking your car to the track on the weekends, or if you simply drive it hard (as a McLaren should be), your car’s maintenance needs may be more than the factory recommended maintenance schedule calls for.
That being said, McLaren recommends following an every 10,000 mile or 1 year (whichever comes first) maintenance schedule. Each maintenance service will be different in what it entails depending on your exact mileage and the model of your McLaren.
An example maintenance schedule is below. Contact a service advisor at EurAuto to get the specifics for your vehicle.
10,000 Miles / 1 Year
- Oil and filter change
- Check condition of filters and replace as necessary
- Check fluid levels and adjust as necessary
- Multi-point inspection
20,000 Miles / 2 Years
- Same as 10,000 mile service
30,000 Miles / 3 Years
- Everything included in 10,000 mile service
- Replace gearbox oil
Other maintenance items such as spark plugs, fuel filter, and brake fluid will require replacement based on usage and exact model of McLaren.
McLaren Performance Upgrades
It may seem crazy to talk about making a McLaren go faster, corner harder, and stop in shorter distances, but you didn’t buy a supercar to drive like a grandma, either.
From performance tunes and exhaust systems to brake and suspension upgrades, we do it all.
Want to learn more? Give us a call or come take a tour of the shop and meet the team. We’re as excited as you to talk about how we can take your McLaren to the next level.
